Visit one of the 7 wonders of the world and be the envy of all of your friends and family back home. The city of Rio de Janeiro has so much to offer to everyone.
Explore Buenos Aires, one of the largest cities in the world, and visit such places as the area of San Telmo neighbourhood and explore the cobbled colonial streets and picturesque colonial buildings, but if history is not your thing then a visit to Tango Porteño House is so very different, pay homage to the home of the tango dance and maybe join in with the visitors and locals alike.
Throughout the 11 day trip to Argentina and Brazil each and every visitor will be treated to a sounds, sight, and smell sensation unlike any other in the world. So, a great reason to visit.
Day 1 : Arrive in Rio De Janeiro
Upon arrival in Rio de Janeiro, you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 2 : Rio De Janeiro (B)
We will enjoy a half day visit to the Christ of Corcovado. It is Rio´s best-known icon. It´s a concrete statue of 30 meters whose wide open arms seem to embrace the whole city. The base stands on the top of the Corcovado hill (710 meters) offering a magnificent view of the city: the Guanabara bay, Niteroi, the Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon, the beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana, the botanical garden and the Sugar Loaf. The Christ of Corcovado had been declared one of the Seven Wonders of Modern World.
Day 3 : Rio De Janeiro (B)
We will enjoy a half visit to Sugar Loaf. The Sugar Loaf is a worldwide symbol of Rio de Janeiro and offers the most beautiful views of the city. It is a combination of 2 mountains reached by a cable car, the first one called Morro da Urca is 220 meters high and offers a beautiful view of the Guanabara Bay, the beaches of Botafogo and Flamengo, the local airport and the Rio-Niterói Brige. From this stage, a second cable car will take you up to the top of the second mountain, with 395 meters above the sea level, to find a splendid view of Copacabana beach, the Santa Cruz fortress and some beaches of Niterói. The Sugar has become a trademark of the city, making of this an unforgettable tour.
Day 4 : Rio De Janeiro – Iguazu Falls – Brazilian Side (B)
Transfer to the airport to flight towards Iguazu Falls. Arrival at Iguazú, meeting at the airport and transfer to Iguazu Falls National Park.
We will visit the Brazilian side of the falls. We will enjoy secure and modern catwalks that lead through the falls.We will continue down pathways which take us ouver the falling water up to a special area with a fantastic panoramic view of the Devil’s Throat and the surrounding falls..
Day 5 : Iguazu Falls – Argentinen Side (B)
We will visit the Iguazu Falls, Argentinean side. In the northeast of the country, in the border with Brazil you will find the most overwhelming falls in the world. The Iguazu River plunges into a gorge of over 275 falls along 4 km completely surrounded by a dense tropical forest. The itineraries will bring you face to face with the native wildlife.
We will enjoy the traditional circuits in the Iguazu National Park: the Upper Circuit and the Lower Circuit. The Upper Circuit guarantees spectacular panoramic views of the falls. The Lower Circuit will give us a close contact with the falls and surrounding vegetation. Finally, we will arrive at the Devil’s Throat. This waterfalls is the most impressive waterfall of the Iguazu Falls. We will be also able to enjoy the excursion called “Great Adventure” that combines: off-road ride in the jungle and a navigation (the last 2 kilometres are in the rapids of the river). Then, we will arrive at the Devil’s Throat Canyon where we will get the closest we can to the falls.
Day 6: Iguazu Falls – El Calafate (B)
Transfer to the airport to flight towards El Calafate (via Buenos Aires). Arrival at El Calafate, meeting at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
Day 7: Iguazu Falls – Navigation Rios De Hielos (B)
The boarding time, in the Punta Bandera Private Port (47 kilometers from the city of El Calafate), will be at 08H30 and the departure will be at 09H00, after the passengers are informed about the safety and sailing conditions.
Once on board we will sail though the North Arm of the Argentino Lake to reach the Upsala Canal, where we will find a spectacular Ocebergs Barrier. From there we will have a panoramic view of the Upsala Glacier.
Afterwards we will navigate the Spegazzini Canal, where we will observe the Seco Glacier to reach the front of Spegazzini Glacier, the highest in the National Park. The return to Punta Bandera Private Port will be at 16H00 approximately. **The tour may be modified depending on weather conditions, security and decision of the captain on board.
Day 8: El Calafte – Glaciar Perito Moreno – Bueos Aires (B)
We will go along the walkways admiring different perspectives of the Glacier. Then we will enjoy a navigation to the front wall of the glacier. Reaching the Icebergs Channel, the boat will stop at a safe distance from the glacier to reach a spectacular view of the high wall of ice.
After a tour, transfer to the airport to take your flight toward Buenos Aires. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Day 9: Buenos Aires (B)
We will enjoy a city tour to discover the city’s most traditional neighbourhoods. Our first stop will be the May Square, historical scenery of the main political events of our country. We will continue towards San Telmo. This picturesque area still preserves its colonial constructions and its cobbled streets. It is full of antique shops and artist’s ateliers. This tour continues in La Boca, there we will visit the famous Caminito We will go on our visit in Puerto Madero, a very sophisticated area very close to the river that houses the most elegant and chic restaurants and bars in town. We will head towards Recoleta to discover the Parisian air of Alvear Avenue, the most exclusive fashion shops, luxurious French palaces and the legendary Recoleta Cemetery.
Tango Porteño House opened in the best location that ‘tango’ can offer in Buenos Aires, in front of the Obelisk, an indisputable landmark of the city. It magically recreates the great passion of the Argentinean society, dating to the ‘Golden Age´ in Buenos Aires when every corner of the city smelt of ´tango’. The show brings us back to Canaro, Fresedo, Piazzolla, D’Arienzo, Troilo and Pugliese, among other celebrities. The old Metro building is today ‘Tango Porteño´, a place that combines the most delicate ambience with the purest art deco style of the Golden Age, an outstanding group of artists, top productions and a high quality gastronomic display which honors the time it represents.
Day 10: Bueos Aires – Tigre & Delta (B)
Not far from Buenos Aires, we will find the outskirts residential neighborhoods in the north area, near the River Plate and surrounded by spectacular vegetation.
We will arrive to Tigre in the Delta. We will navigate on the typical motorboat and sail along the Delta, among beautiful green islands, leafy vegetation and characteristic fauna. After navigation, we will navigate back to the pier.
Day 11: Depart Bueos Aires (B)
Transfer to the airport to take your international flight.
